Important Information and Checklist


Some things to consider:


Below is some packing and gear information that will be helpful when preparing for the retreat. The highs in March are around 56 and the lows are in the 30s. 


Yoga equipment will be provided.


Reminder: break in your hiking shoes BEFORE the retreat. 


Packing list: 

  • Walking sticks or poles
  • Bring earphones for your phone
  • A hiking backpack to carry layers and water bottles as needed
  • Water bottle 
  • Trekking pants, capris, zip-off pants, or hiking pants
  • Bring clothing that is easy to move in for the mindful movement and breath work - no jeans, no zippers, no buttons. You will have a chance to change before the hike. 
  • Long underwear. (Under Armor®, Capilene® etc.)
  • Light rain/wind jacket
  • Fleece jacket for the cool mornings
  • Down/puffy jacket
  • Scarf
  • Warm/knit hat/beanie
  • Warm gloves 
  • Bring your national park pass if you have one. 
  • Extra pair of shoes in case a pair get wet in snow or mud.
  • Sandals 
  • Bring sun protection - hats, UV clothing, sunscreen
